As Jesus continues his farewell discourse he promises his disciples the coming helper; the Holy Spirit. I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who believes in me shall never die.

Do you find yourself in the trap of comparison? Scroll through youtube or any social media platform and you’ll see, and feel compelled to, compare yourself to others. Well, John, in this section of His Gospel, reminds us that there is a greater comparison; one in which we are woefully fallen short. Jesus is supreme over all things, and the love the Father has for him, so much so that he has given him dominion over all things. The main point of this sermon is that Jesus has Supremacy and Dominion over all things, and therefore we should believe in Him.
